Women of the South: Radicals & Revolutionaries - Hedge School
On Thursday 12th May, a Hedge School on women’s rights and activism was held at the Farmgate Café, with a particular focus on Munster in the period of revolution and its aftermath. It offered the audience an opportunity to question and engage with a panel of leading scholars in the field. Chaired by Tommy Graham (Editor History Ireland magazine) with panelists Professor Linda Connolly (UCC), Dr. John Borgonovo (UCC), Dr. Mary McAuliffe (UCD) and Dr. Claire McGing (Maynooth University) a lively conversation ensued!
